Friend's spider dream

This dream was seen by my friend and she really wanted to record it somewhere in order to find the interpretation later.

It was seen in the early hours of the morning, say between 6-9am. She says she doesn’t remember much of the dream even though she generally manages to remember most of them. It is apparently due to the fear that was aroused in her while watching the dream which has caused her to forget parts of it.

She saw an assortment of spiders. Different types of them. The small ones and even weird ones which she had never seen before. She was extremely scared at their sight but at the same time she knew it’s just a phobia and she was being a little unreasonable perhaps. Point to be noted is that she is afraid of spiders in real. She says the spiders were all over the place and were coming from all directions.

Another point to be noted is that she doesn’t exactly remember everything. She just remembers 2 images- one of the little spider doing something on the wall and the other weird spider just appeared from somewhere and she got really scared. She only remembers getting the ‘feeling’ that spiders were all around her. However, she doesn’t quite remember the corresponding ‘images’. So she can’t be sure of that.

So basically, she’s wondering what these spiders stand for.

Exam on the terrace

I have been having dreamless nights since the past couple of days. However, last night I dreamt and as usual it was strange. I saw many friends and acquaintances (old and new). We were climbing some sort of a ladder. After a lot of climbing and nervous chatter, we seemed to reach a place which resembled the terrace of the building in which I previously lived. I could even see the beach from there just the way it was when I lived there. Point to be noted is that it was night time. It was really dark. I got the feeling that everyone was there to give some sort of an exam. Everbody was apprehensive. At the same time it felt like a re-union of sorts.

Tea Leaves

There were 2 dreams. The first one was a mere recollection of sorts of some interesting event that had occurred the previous day. So I won't record that.

In the second part, I saw myself preparing tea for my Dad (that is strange bacause I rarely do that). However, there were always 2 teacups and I don't have tea. So whom was the second cup for? Anyway, I noticed that I'd left a piece of ice in each of the two cups at the end of the first tea-making-process. So, I had to empty the cups and restart. I made two cups again, but this time while straining the tea, a lot of it spilt out by mistake and some of it even fell on my hand (I didn't retain a burn though). So, I had to start making the tea all over again. The third time everything was fine. Except for the fact that when I actually took the tea out to serve, my Dad was already having his dinner. So he didn't have it. Hmm.

Woman....Seventeen....Baby ball....

There were 3 or so parts to the whole dream. I saw flashes of the three parts randomly.



1st part.....
There was this woman in a green saree. She was married to this man who seemed to be very indifferent about her. There was a lawn-like area outside a big mansion. It was raining. The woman was following that man who was heading towards a long, black, luxurious looking car. He didn't have an umbrella but he wasn't even getting wet. There was another girl(somewhere in her twenties, perhaps) under the same umbrella as the woman in the green saree. She was wearing blue jeans and a white shirt. The woman had to hurry up to keep up with that girl. Even though she was the one holding the umbrella, it looked as if the two of them (the girl and the man) were making her follow them against her will. In another flash, there seemed to be a third person in the picture (who bore striking resemblance to my sister!) and she was telling the woman, " Iam getting shoes from nike. Lagta hai Valentines Day par bhagna padega" !!



2nd part........
My mother(the woman didn't look like my mom but I felt it was her) seemed to be flipping through the September copy of Seventeen (I bought it today- in real(?)) and was musing," Its pretty hot".



3rd part........
There was a cute, plumpy woman with a cute plumpy baby. The baby looked pretty abnormal though because its torso was too small. It was nearly spherical. I had apparently gone to see the baby. I remarked," The baby is so..... small!" . The woman seemed to be a little taken aback and said that it was only in its first year of existence. Hmm. However, its skin looked very radiant, shiny and plastic-like to me. Then she did something very strange. She made the baby fold its legs and threw it to one wall. It bounced back and reached the other wall (like a ball!). I was appalled by this and (I think) went away.



Pretty strange huh? I am most curious to find out the implications of the baby-ball dream though.

An Attempt.....

....to record all the 'dreams' that my subconscious makes me see almost every night. There are few days which are either 'dreamless' or I forget the dreams just as I wake up. Other nights are normally filled with either a long continuous dream of some sort or simply flashes of several separate dreams. There have been repititive dreams as well. They were pretty silly though. Or maybe, there is some rather profound explanation to those seemingly 'silly' dreams which there most likely is. I shall record all this and perhaps some other 'visions' and deja vus as and when they take place.
